Signalex is a law firm founded by Mauro Barberi, a lawyer with over forty years of experience in corporate and commercial law, and Mario Santaroni, an expert in business crisis management. With offices in Milan, Rome, Turin, Bolzano, Bucharest and Bratislava, Signalex provides multidisciplinary advice to businesses and families as they pursue growth, navigate transformation and protect value. Building on the legacy of BBRS, the firm has expanded its services to support family continuity and succession. It is a firm that sees balance and trust as the driving forces of change.
Brand Strategy and Naming: Harmony Among Values
The purpose of the brand identity is to express Signalex’s role: to guide clients through change and facilitate generational transitions and relationships between businesses and banks. This is the context behind the name: derived from the Latin signum (sign, imprint, direction), it evokes the ability to give direction and meaning to relationships, establishing a clear point of reference. The firm thus positions itself as a strategic partner capable of restoring harmony and stability in complex situations (“equalizing trust”), embodying four core values: people, trust, balance and enterprise.
Brand Design: Rigour and Authority
Signalex’s visual identity reveals the essential by stripping away the superfluous. Its brand language interprets the balance between the visible and the invisible that is intrinsic to law: the interplay of positive and negative space brings this vision to life, transforming it into a seal. The colour palette combines orange, symbolising positive transition, with the white and grey of the name. The logo monogram, featuring a flowing “S” within a rounded square, balances solidity and flexibility, while the serif logotype conveys understated elegance, authority and precision.
