Veronesi Foundation

Scientific research and a culture of prevention

Founded in 2003 by Professor Umberto Veronesi, the Veronesi Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports excellence in scientific research in the field of medicine, with a particular focus on oncology and chronic diseases. It also promotes science communication and a culture of prevention, striving to make scientific progress accessible to everyone and to improve people’s quality of life through knowledge, innovation, and solidarity.

Brand Identity. From a historic legacy to a new future

Twenty years after its founding, the Veronesi Foundation renews its brand identity, bringing the legacy of its founder into the present. The new logo is a gestural mark that recalls the “V” of Veronesi — familiar, approachable, and capable of signing every form of communication. Its shape adapts to different contexts while maintaining strong recognizability. The areas of funded research are represented by a ribbon — a universal symbol of the fight against cancer — expressed in various thematic colors.
An identity that blends continuity and innovation, telling the story of a mission that looks to the future with the strength of its original values.
